Maaz’s Chicken is more than just a restaurant; it’s the story of an ambitious journey that began when Maaz immigrated to the United States at the age of 16. Within a week of arriving, he was already hard at work, gaining hands-on experience in the food industry. Working tirelessly during school breaks and free time, Maaz developed a deep connection to the art of cooking and serving others.
Although Maaz initially set his sights on a corporate career, his passion for food kept calling him back to the kitchen. After completing college, he embraced his true calling and took the leap to create Maaz’s Chicken. In September 2023, he opened the first location in Franklin, NH—a small, picturesque town known as the Three Rivers City.
When Maaz put up the “Opening Soon” sign, the people of Franklin welcomed him warmly, often asking, “Why Franklin?” While even Maaz wasn’t entirely sure at first, he knew he’d found the right place during his search to open his first spot in New Hampshire. As he drove through Franklin, he thought, “This is it.” He felt a strong connection to the town and knew it was where his journey with Maaz’s Chicken should begin.
Today, Maaz’s Chicken has grown to over three locations, with more on the way. Each restaurant reflects Maaz’s commitment to quality food, community spirit, and innovation. Every meal we serve tells a story—one of passion, dedication, and the dream of bringing people together over great food. And this journey is just beginning!
