Maaz’s Chicken is more than just a restaurant—it’s the story of a dream built through hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering belief that anything is possible.

Maaz immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. Within his first week in America, he was already working in the restaurant industry. While most teenagers were spending their evenings with friends, Maaz was spending his in restaurant kitchens. Throughout high school and college, he worked from open to close, seven days a week, often without a single day off.

Even during his first year of college, his schedule was anything but ordinary. He attended classes just two days a week and spent the other five days working full-time in the kitchen. Every shift became a lesson—not only in cooking, but in customer service, teamwork, leadership, and what it truly takes to run a successful restaurant.

Although Maaz originally planned to pursue a corporate career after college, his passion for the restaurant industry never faded. He believed there was an opportunity to create a restaurant that delivered exceptional halal food without compromising on quality, consistency, or hospitality.

For nearly three years before opening the first Maaz’s Chicken, Maaz dedicated himself to developing the concept. He refined recipes, built operating systems, designed the menu, created the brand, and focused on every detail needed to turn his vision into reality. When everything was finally ready, there was just one problem—he didn’t have the capital to open his own restaurant.

Rather than letting that stop him, Maaz found another way. He partnered with others to bring the concept to life, allowing the idea to prove itself in the real world. It wasn’t about owning the first location—it was about proving that the vision worked. Every challenge became another lesson, and every success brought him one step closer to building the brand he had always imagined.

In September 2023, the first Maaz’s Chicken opened in Franklin, New Hampshire, a small city known as the Three Rivers City. When the “Opening Soon” sign went up, many people asked, “Why Franklin?” The answer was simple—it just felt right. From the moment Maaz drove through the city, he knew this was where the journey should begin.

Today, Maaz’s Chicken continues to grow across New England, with more locations on the horizon. Yet the mission remains the same: to serve fresh, high-quality halal food made to order, provide genuine hospitality, and create a place where every customer feels welcome.

Every meal we serve represents years of sacrifice, determination, and belief in a dream. Maaz’s Chicken wasn’t built with deep pockets—it was built with long hours, hard work, and the courage to keep moving forward when others might have given up.

This is only the beginning. Welcome to Maaz’s Chicken.
